Welcome to Boop, developed by Amloh Apps. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe. Boop is designed to be a private connection between two people, and our data practices reflect that minimalism.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication. We do not require your name, email address, or phone number to create an account.
- Device Tokens: We collect Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to route push notifications (the "Boop" signals) directly to your specific device.
- Connection Data: We store a secure link between your anonymous ID and your companion's anonymous ID to ensure signals are routed correctly.
- Usage Data: We store timestamps of the last received signal to display connection status.
- Analytics & Diagnostics: We use Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymized usage data and crash reports to help us improve the app's stability.
- Purchase History: If you buy premium features, we store Google Play purchase tokens to unlock features across your paired connection. We do not process or store raw credit card information.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data strictly to operate the Boop application. Specifically, to link you with your companion, deliver real-time haptic signals, sync premium UI unlocks, fix bugs, and ensure the app functions reliably across devices.
4. Third-Party Services
Boop utilizes trusted third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These services include:
- Google Play Services
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Firebase Authentication & Cloud Firestore
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data is only shared securely between the two paired devices (you and your companion) via our encrypted Firebase backend to facilitate the core function of the app.
6. Data Deletion
Because accounts are created anonymously, we cannot automatically verify identity for account deletion from outside the app. To request the complete deletion of your anonymous identifier, connection data, and purchase history, please send an email to amlohapp@gmail.com with your support request, and we will manually purge your data from our servers.
